Installation and video, 13 minutes, Nottingham, 2007
Over the summer and autumn of 2007 we met with members of the Gypsy community living in rural Lincolnshire, England. In workshops we explored themes of identity, memories, freedom and aspirations. Participants used digital cameras and audio recording equipment to research these aspects of their lives.
The project presents an intimate snapshot of Gypsy life in rural Lincolnshire, thereby helping to raise awareness and counter racism.
